Executive Chef

Chef Matt has a true passion for the creative presentation of food; he considers cooking his personal artistic medium. At the age of fifteen he landed his first job in a kitchen - inciting his interest in the culinary arts. From there he was determined to explore all that the culinary world had to offer. For the past decade Matt has been building his skills and career; devoting his time to learning as much as possible from his peers and mentors. When he’s not in the kitchen, he enjoys watching his Kansas City Chiefs and spending time with his wife, two young daughters, and his dog, Lucy.

Chadwick Massidda

General Manager

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts into a Navy family, Chad spent much of his childhood moving around the country. He ultimately settled on the Seacoast in 2010. Chad grew up surrounded by culinary influences. His mother's love of cooking and his family’s businesses of inns and restaurants all played a part in cultivating his passion for the hospitality industry. He has dedicated many years in the kitchens and dining rooms of many long-standing seacoast restaurants. He enjoys spending his days off with his wife and making time for his family.



Assistant Manager

Bridget is a Portsmouth local and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she majored in International Business and Economics. Currently she is focusing on the international side of her studies and traveling the globe as much as she can. Joining the Jumpin' Jay's family in 2015, Bridget has mastered many positions in the restaurant, most recently taking on the role of assistant manager. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and walking the dogs of the seacoast.


Lee ann honey

Pastry Chef

After graduating from the Pastry Arts Program of Johnson and Whales University in 1985, Lee Ann honed her craft working in upscale establishments in and around the Boston Area. In 2006 she opened the doors of her own business, Honey's Café & Bakery, in Medfield, MA. Open for nearly a decade, Honey's became a destination known for its high-end pastries and custom cakes. These days, when she's not creating confections Lee Ann enjoys spending time with family, skiing, traveling and discovering new restaurants.



Function Coordinator

A seacoast native, Kyla started working at Jumpin’ Jay’s while attending the University of New Hampshire. After spending the past 5 years working in the restaurant doing everything from bussing to managing, Kyla is an expert when it comes to the guest experience. As the Function Coordinator Kyla is excited to help you plan your next visit to Jumpin’ Jay’s! When she isn’t at work you can find Kyla playing volleyball, traveling to a new country or sampling the best new restaurants in the area.
